White Tea [2007]

This is a meditation for solo cello written for Jakub Omsky and be premiered at Wichita State's annual new music festival. It is a simple piece, constructed around a cycle of harmonies related by thirds. It is the first piece in a projected repertoire of meditations for solo cello, in fact, Jakub's cello.
